The Moon-Viewing Garden provides a shady sanctuary among magnolia trees, camellia hybrids, and Japanese maples. A wooden pavilion for viewing the autumn moon extends over a reflecting pond. Especially beautiful in fall, when colorful maple leaves have fallen, the Moon-Viewing Garden has been home to a female pheasant. Mallards, American Robins, and Downy Woodpeckers often visit.
